Best and least expensive AR collapsible stock

I tried searching but didn't really come up with anything. I am looking for the best and least expensive collapsible stock. I want an adjustable stock so my daughter can shoot it easier, but I will still be using it for predators so need it to be good and solid.

I have a RRA A4 if that helps.

Thanks for any help.

I like the Magpul CTR, just due to the fact it has a lock built into it that takes all the rattle out.

It's not the cheapest, though.

If you have an A2 stock now, you need a lot more than just a stock, you need a buffer tube, spring, buffer, end plate and castle nut, too.

SQ - consider this option too:

I have the Bushmaster too and it's got a rattle. This MOE is silent in comparison.

It's $100, but it's the whole assembly that sets you up from the lower on back (stock, buffer tube, spring, buffer). I bought the black version (thanks to a tip from jlindholm70) just last week. Fast service. Free shipping, and all the stuff you need (admittedly more than I needed too with the forestock and pistol grip, but hey spares and stuff to sell).

You mentioned your daughter. Don't know if she'd like it, but there's a pink version too. Don't have any girls, so I have no idea!

I gotta tell you- get magpul CTR or a vltor modstock. either is nice, but the Magpul is by far easier to use.
I like the way the vltor feels when I bring it up, but its got nuts and bolts to monkey with.

That kit sendit linked to is the best deal you're going to find. If you decide you don't like that stock or price, at least save the link, because it tells you what you'll need to switch over from an A2 to a carbine stock.

Make sure the buffer tube and stock you get are the same diameter (both commercial or both mil spec).

TAPCOs 6 pos. cs is usually right around $60 or so.
I got one for $49 at a shop 6 mos ago on sale.
CDNN always has CS for about $30 also.

Wow thanks for all the ideas guys. Sendit I will not mention the pink version to her or she just may insist on it, but when she wants to hunt she only wants the camo. Doing some research I wasn't sure on the whole buffer tube and everything. I didn't realize the carbine and rifle were different and AR15.com said pretty much every RRA is commercial and not mil spec, news to me as I thought all their models were mil spec but those guys are die hard AR guys and know their stuff. I really don't want to drop $200 or more on a stock but if it is the way to go then I will. She loves shootin the 10/22 and if I can get the AR to fit her better she can have at it. We live in the country and shoot right off the back deck so gettin out isn't an issue.

Thanks guys I will look at these links some more.

How about a free float tube while I am at it. Any ideas?

My Magpul ACS is rock solid and can be had for 150 or less for a complete kit. It provides excellent cheek weild, has room for storage, is collabsible, and is everything else you would expect from in my opinion the best collapsable made. I have had an LMT sopmod and it was second best, kinda ugly, but best fit. I would get a CTR over a Vltor Emod which I have also had. I don't know about the modstock, since I have no experience with them. Go to a gunshop and try them out, it's definitely worth it. It's like third on my list of essentials in a good gun. Our opinions may not fit you or your daughters liking. Well worth your money trying them out first.

The PRS is a nice stock, but it's heavy, about a full pound heavier. Unless you're going to be doing mostly bench or prone bipod shooting, I'd stick with the MOE kit from DSG.
