a really good bait can be made from horse hoof trimmings . take a hand full ( the closeer to the frog the better) soak in water for about three day MINimum , in hot sun ( like making sun tea) , or you can boil it if its not warm enough out . simply pour off what you need into a spray bottle , and voila the best cover scent and lure i have found .( do not get it on you) unless you want to live like a hermit for a week or two )when used as a cover scent simply mist while calling , Jerry . /ubbthreads/images/graemlins/laugh.gif
