I got bitten by the ar bug, so I will be picking up a ar 10 this week and was wondering what's the best cleaning kit for it. I looked at Dewey and its a nice kit but there is not much more out there for a ar 10.
I have the Otis gun cleaning kit and like it a lot. At first I wasn't sure I would like it because there isn't a solid rod, but I actually like it better. Plus the complete kit isn't much larger than your wallet so it doesn't take up much space.

A little pricey but everything you need to do the job correctly.
I purchased components individually and made my own handle for the chamber brush. Also the connector link is kind of cool but I don`t use mine and instead just separate the upper from the lower.
If they have this kit available when you pick the rifle up, I`d say go for it.
