I had a dog stolen at my ranch up in the mountains about 3-4 years ago...
I shot a target with a nice tight group at 300 yards, then wrote a message on it & posted it at my front gate.

The message said:

This target was shot at 300 yards....You are now at 150 yards. Think About It!

Never got my dog back though, despite the $500 reward I posted. Pissed me off. /ubbthreads/images/graemlins/mad.gif

My Dad has a sign on his fence that says:

The place my brother used to live had some break in's in the neighborhood and he was worried. I told him to post a human silouette target on his door and write in big capital letters "THIS COULD BE YOU" His place never got broke into while he lived there. /ubbthreads/images/graemlins/smile.gif

Side note: My brother is the only person I would be scared to go pistol to pistol against.

Chain a Pitbull in the yard and hang a sign that says "Never Mind The Dog--Beware Of Owner! AND IF YOU CAN READ THIS YOU ARE IN RANGE.
