I have grown to really like the Nikon Coyote scopes as well. They do what they are meant to do which is allow you to make quick accurate shots on coyotes/predators. I prefer the 3-9 for the low end wider field but I have had great success with mine.
I just picked up a second one and mounted it on my 6X45mm last week and when I sighted in I shot a 1/2 inch 4 shot group then took one shot at 200yds and would have hit a quarter so I called it good and went hunting and shot 8 animals without a miss the next day.
I would not recommend it for shooting paper but they can be quite accurate as noted above.
