Best Scope for the $$$??????

i just went thru that, burned up my budget on a rifle i just had to have, and it was useless without a good scope, and wanted the same type of scope you want. i decided on a nikon buckmasters 6-18 side focus target turrets and they come in plex ,balistic plex, and dot. they also fall in your price range. finaly got my 220 swift all together with that scope and took her out yesterday, even tho it was 20 degrees out(had the range to myself) and i love it, i have absolutely no complaints with that scope.

Leupold or Nikon for sure,

If you hit on a scratch off on the way, get a Swarovski. I slapped one on my A-bolt and cant believe the difference.

I am looking to spend around $250-$300, $350 maybe. Where and what is the best scope for that kind of money?

Here is one of the best values in a 4-16X variable scope going right now! The Weaver 4-16x42mm is even on sale right now! It would make a fine scope for your rifle.

I suggest the Leupold VX2 in 3x9 or Burris .....lifetime warranty.

$299.00 free shipping at Bear Basin

I have Leupold or Burris Scopes on most of my rifles. Still some wear the old Redfield scopes and old weaver steel tubes.

Stick with these two scope makers and you will not be sorry!

Hunter00, The side focus is very easy to use. Much easier than reaching clear out to the end to adjust the objective. This is the first side focus that I have owned and it's awesome. First scope that I could afford that had one. Way to go NIKON! Lifetime Warranty with Nikon as well!

Jason, the VSSF II are the same rifle only they have black fluting and an extra sling stud. Thats the only difference i know of, however there could be more that i dont know about?
