I only have the option of a Blackberry or IPhone and since I have not seen a shooting app for the Blackberry I am planning on getting an IPhone to replace my current Blackberry.
I have been looking and there seem to be several out there. Is there a particular one that is better or easier or are they all about the same.

Knights armament bullet flight, the military version it has everything, gps angles, impact energy, weather, etc. it is in use by our snipers it is 29.95.if you want ot be able to hit at long range you need all of these things. if you have a Iphone this program really uses it to the max,gps for weather alt.pressure etc.

Where do you find the "shooter" app? I searched the app store and it didn't come up? Is the correct name of the app "Shooter"?

I'm new at the Apple thing, but I've found that category searches do not always pull up every app in the category. I saw shooter on there yesterday. Do a search for it by name.

Kizmo I have the shooter app. I plug in my gun and load and print out the drop chart. I then cross reference with this Ballistic plex and it works great. Instead of going by the yardage on the plex look at what the drop on each mark and then compare the too. When you find the similarities you will have the exact yardage for each mark on the plex for your gun and load and not some generic numbers.

In most of my yote situations, I hardly have enough time to range, compute and shoot as it is, so I usually end up eyeballing it from a set of pre-ranged objects. I was looking for something that touts itself as "idiot proof and for the lazy man". I did find one yesterday that does have the Ballistic Plex.

Anyone have any experience with it?

I have the ballistic app, just plug in your bullet info and it will tell you elevation or MOA adjustments. Using this I was able to be on target out to 1000 yds on the first weekend that I got my .308.

Pretty sweet apps. Like previously said, once you learn your drop it's a lot easier. You can also load and save your bullets info on this app, so you don't have to try and remember everything.

I run I snipe on mine. It seems to be right on the money.. I'm real happy with it so far. I shoot both MIL and MOA it switches back and forth easy and quick..
