I have a couple of the Cabelas Safari slings I bought several years ago, you can sling them over your shoulder muzzle up or you can carry them cross shoulder with the muzzle up, or you can carry your gun horizontal just lift into position it is great for quick shots if the need arises. check em out.
The claw.... With all the things you cary into a stand you never have to worry about your rifle sliding down your shoulder. I'm even thinking about replacing the custom leather sling on my pretty walnut cooper with one. Now if I could figure out how to rig one to my ecaller......
This is the one I have and my son uses too . We do daytime coon calling and walk all day through brush and heavy cover ,up and down stream banks and hills and this sling keeps the gun in place and is somewhat "springy" so the gun kind of floats along on your shoulder instead of jaring with each step. Not a wide strap at the shoulder but being narrow makes it stay put well , I think. Jim http://www.sloganoutdoors.com/
this two strap backpack style.... I love mine... and you can still use it like a one strap by putting both straps around one shoulder. they work great...and they are inexpensive.

I have 2 of these and they are pretty good. They really come in handy when riding the ATV.

Agreed. Best there is. Stays on your shoulder. Even flying through the woods behind the hounds
