The two main options are the Pulsar Accolade 2 LRF and the N-vision Atlas. They are actually thermal bi-oculars not binoculars. There is only one lens and two eyepieces. Both models seem to priced near $6K. For this price, I could nearly buy a Bering Optics Phenom which is their top of the line 640 scanner and the new Bering Optics Super Hogster weapon's sight. I could for sure buy two Hogsters, or a Phenom and a Hogster 35 for less.

The big question is do you really need a bi-ocular. Some people love thermal bi-oculars and others say they would rather have the size and portability of a thermal scanner (monocular). If budget and size aren't an issue, then go for the bi-ocular. If you go for light and less expensive, I would recommend a Hogster 25 or 35, a Phenom, or potentially a Pulsar Helion XP.

I just don't see the value of having the bi-ocular for coyote hunting. The action is too fast paced when they start coming. Plus you're dealing with more weight. Now it could be a real bonus for someone hog hunting or hunting from a stand or blind I guess, but I can't see where it would be a benefit for making stands predator hunting.

It depends on what type of heat signatures. For instance, the Bering Optics Phenom, Bering says it can detect cars at over 2 miles and that is a for sure. For coyotes, it really depends on humidity and terrain but I have spotted coyotes at over 1 mile with many of my thermals. I haven't used the two bioculars as per the OP, so can't speak to those.

Two of my best friends are running the Pulsar ACCOLADE XP50's and love them. One just ordered a second ACCOLADE LRF for himself and gave the non-LRF to his business partner. We have one of the ACCOLADE 2 XP50's in stock. Call for PM pricing.

Thanks for the information Tom. I understand that maybe you are one of the few in the USA who can compare Pulsar Accolade XP50 LRF with Pulsar Accolade 2 XP50 LRF. I was lucky enough to be able to make this comparison on June 3 at the Pulsar seller in Udine in Italy. In broad daylight I observed a radio antenna over the hills at a great distance. With Accolade 1 it was barely visible and blurred; with Accolade 2 it looked good. The difference was significant. Then I looked at the words written on a sunlit billboard at a distance of 200 yards. Accolade 2 was amazing: I could use the 2x and 4x digital zoom and lost very little definition. It was at that moment that I decided to sell Accolade 1 and book Accolade 2 .....
