U can call coyotes anytime of the day in PA or any other part of the country if the correct approach is used.
If the woods are big and humans dont pressure them, they will run any time of the day. They will cross fields, yip, bark and everything else, its all about human pressure.
In farm country or city coyotes I like mornings. Human activity is higher during the day, coyotes have a tendency to stay in the shadows until dark, unless they dont fear humans and most of them dont last long. Mornings are great, less human activity at night and the coyotes have a tendency to relax and this gives U the edge.
Mid day, hunt the bedding areas, play the wind and use a soft approach.
Hunting coyotes is not rocket science, its common sense. Many hunters make it way more complicated than it really is.
