I just wanted to get some opinions from some of you guys. Is it better to call PA yotes in the day or night?

If you are hunting open fields... night time is the best.
If you are hunting woodlots (or thickets) and small fields... day time is the best.
I hunted in and around Erie for almost three years day and night. I liked them both and didn't find one better than the other as long as I kept to the info above.

The best time for us ... Is in the early morning ... I would say 1:30am to daylight ... I just started doing this Predator Hunting also so my opinion my not be the best ...

U can call coyotes anytime of the day in PA or any other part of the country if the correct approach is used.
If the woods are big and humans dont pressure them, they will run any time of the day. They will cross fields, yip, bark and everything else, its all about human pressure.
In farm country or city coyotes I like mornings. Human activity is higher during the day, coyotes have a tendency to stay in the shadows until dark, unless they dont fear humans and most of them dont last long. Mornings are great, less human activity at night and the coyotes have a tendency to relax and this gives U the edge.
Mid day, hunt the bedding areas, play the wind and use a soft approach.
Hunting coyotes is not rocket science, its common sense. Many hunters make it way more complicated than it really is.

All my coyote hunting is done in the big woods of North Central PA (Tioga County).My opinion is that you most likley have a little more of an edge in the early morning and late afternoon hours,basically the times that deer hunting are better also.But we have called yotes in already in the middle of the day around 1 in the afternoon.
We hunt all day from morning to nightfall in the big woods.Actually I like to think anytime that you have, and can get out into the woods is a good time.
