Best Trap Brand

What is the best all around brand for a coil type trap? I am looking for a 4 coil type. Victor oneida, Duke, Bridger, Sleepy Creek, or BMI? Also, If you were looking to buy an all around trap that could be used for both Bobcat and Fox with the rare coyote, What would it be? Thank you in advance. - Striker
 
What about the 4 coil duke traps in the 1.75? The price on these are better, but that doesn't always mean better quality. Perhaps each model has its goods and bads. Thanks again- Striker
 
MB or Jake. Check out the MB 550. It's a new trap and not yet on the market but will be in about a month or two. It will be by far the best fox/cat trap made.
 
I've been out of the trapping business for about 20years, but my favorite was always a 1.75 with offset jaws. Enough iron for cats and yotes, tender enough for fox.
 
check out the montana #3. This is a dogless type trap. This is the remake of the montgomery step-in trap. Great trap for coyotes and cats. The monty #2 is also a great trap but can only be found on ebay and such.
 
You get what you pay for with duke traps. I would go with a #2 trap offset and laminated woudl work well for both and hold coyotes well. I would go with the milligan 4 coil springs from Minn trap prod, I use them on all my #3 Bridgers and they are perfect not too much nor too little and at .99 a pair worth the money. The bridger #2 with mods will make you an excellent trap at a savings to others.

The best coyote /cat trap in my mind is the sterling mj600 top of the line but will set you back 34.00 ea, but are as tough as nails and come ready to set in the ground the day the ups man drops them off at your door.
