Best value shotgun with picatinny rail

Hey guys. I'm looking for a good, inexpensive shotgun that has a pic rail on top or drilled and tapped for one. I'm going to have an ir laser mounted on there. I don't want a 1k gun for occasional night hunts but would prefer semi auto.

What do you reccomend?

Based on the reading and research I've done, I believe the Remington V3 Field Sport offers a lot of value for a budget-friendly semi-auto. I just posted about a great deal on this gun over at Grabagun.com for just under $520. And it is drilled and tapped for an optic mount. Read more about it here. Good luck on your search.

Disclaimer: I'm new at this. This forum has so many other members that know WAY more than me when it comes to shotguns and predator hunting. Just sharing the route I'm going.

If you could get it for that price and have a rebate, that would be a steal. 4 months ago when I started pricing these, Grabagun.com had them priced $100 more, so I figured this was a great deal. Plus, everyone else is over $600 on them except Buds.

If you 'll go pump, CDNN has the Weatherby PA-459's for $289 with rail, FO frt site and pistol grip. They get good reviews and use Mobil chokes. FWIW, a number of the current Turkish-built shotties seem to be functioning well, and even most of the semi's are under $400 or so.

I don't know if you will like the pistol grip or the 18 inch barrel but you will love the shotgun. It's imported by Benelli and has the same action. $399 for a qaulity semi-auto is a good deal. Watch the video on Buds Guns and read the reviews. They are great firearms. I have the 26"barrel for bird hunting and the 18" barrel for home defense. Here's a link.

If you click on it, it doesn't work but if you copy and paste it, it will. I don't know what I'm doing wrong.

Sweet! I have Benelli's, but Turkey is creating a hot selection of very functional weapons right now at very good prices. In ten yrs, after we've increased their economy and inflation rates from buying from them, guys here will be lamenting the days of good, inexpensive field guns from Turkey.

Another option I found is the Tristar's - just won a Tec-12 on GB for $250 + shipping and FFL! Silly cheap - functions as an inertia semi AND a pump with the flick of a switch. Even has the after market $100+ adj. stock and shell holder. About the same weight as that Girsan. It's good to be a buyer right now.
