Best Website to buy a Buck knife??

I'm looking to buy a Buck knife as a gift for a grandson, for an early birthday gift. His birthday is in December, but deer season is in November.

I am thinking about the Buck Ranger, even though I favor the Buck 110 Folding hunter.

I'm looking for the best price. I have a few weeks before I actually need it, so I have time to shop.

I like the Buck Ranger. Don't own one, but have come close. I just have too many knives as is.

It is a better choice than a 110 IMO. I gave up using folders simply because I spent more time cleaning the knife than gutting the critter. Too much crud gets stuck in the folder and can be a PITA to get out.

Try these:

Here is another knife with a 1" longer blade that may be easier for a beginner to clean deer with:

Hate to say it, but for a 110 I doubt you will beat Wal-Mart's price. For a 112 I guess a little Internet shopping would turn up the lowest price. The Ranger 112 was my first "deer knife" as a kid. I used one for just about everything as a youngster; deer, turkey, even squirrels and rabbits sometimes. I think it is a good solid choice for a young hunter.

Hummm... Since he mentioned the 110 Folding Hunter I was thinking he meant the shorter bladed 112 folding hunter for the youngster. The 112 folder is also called the "Ranger." I dunno which...
