Biggest Bobcat you ever killed?

I went out calling this weekend. Called a few dogs and a couple fox, and even 1 cat. This is the largest cat Ive personally ever killed. Clocking in at 27.5 lbs on 2 different scales. He sure felt heavy!!!

Whats the largest, weight VERIFIED on a scale, cat you've ever taken?

:)My largest Bob was 45# and the smallest was 8#----with many in between----Lake Superior watershed U.P. of Michigan------svb

I have never weighed a bobcat or coyote... don't even weigh deer any more... when I was a kid we checked deer in at a cafe/gas station, part of the check in process was weighing them. It did not matter if it was just a fork horn, but as a kid I felt so accomplished and proud of my deer checking it in among all the other deer hunters. With online check stations they have taken away that part of the hunt for today's youth. Now we have social media but I don't think it is quite the same.

Don't know how much he weighed but saw a big one bow hunting the other day. They aren't legal to shoot yet but I'll be looking for him.

72 pounds... then I realized I had nodded off on one of those long cat stands and was dreaming. Boy it was a pretty thing!

I found one when I was pheasant huntin one time that someone had shot and left there. One of my buddies got it tagged and mounted. That cat weighed 37 pounds and some ounces.

I've never weighed any cats that I've shot. The biggest one I ever killed got stolen by the taxidermist I took it to. Got two stolen actually but the other one wasn't very big. Either way I never got to ask him how much it weighed.

Man i hear that.

Killed a tom that weighed 27lbs a few winters ago while deer hunting. First and only cat so far but the 300wsm was a little too rough on him to mount. Never can get lucky enough to catch one while im calling

Here's a photo of my biggest bobcat shot a few years back. It weighed 27.5 pounds on a digital scale. For some reason they always feel heavier. LOL

Came running in from 400-yards away. I saw him the whole time and he settled in at 50-yards. Those were the last steps he took.

I skinned him out, kept the paws attached and sent it in to get tanned. Unfortunately, the tanner lost the skin and I never got it back. That's what he said anyways. Never spent another dime there.

While I did call in a few bobcats (not intentionally), between '96-'09, I actually only shot at & killed one.
That was in January of 2007.
(In Kansas, you have to have a Fur Harvester's License to take 'cats. This was the only time that I actually had one of those licenses.)

It didn't have hardly any spots, so I decided to give it to a guy I knew who skinned them...after I took a couple photos.

He weighed it, a female 'cat, at 22 lbs.
