Bipod choice for CZ 527

I've never put a bipod on a rifle before but I want to put one on my new CZ 527 .17 Rem.

Does anyone have any recommendations? After reading a while I see Harris has a good reputation in the market, but how do I know what adapter or model I need for my CZ?

Most bipods attach to the front sling stud. I would say go with a Bsquare Rototilt, you can pan to stay with moving game and tilt to keep the crosshairs level on uneven ground. I have one I took off my 10/22 to put on my Encore untill I can get another one and I really like it better than the ones that don't move any.

t/c223encore.

I just bought a caldwell to try out, it seems to work alright its got adjustable legs, and will attach to virtually any rifle, they only thing I would worry about is the foreend flexing and causing POI to shift, but I will mainly use it for my kevlar varmint, plus it has swivel and cant, too, most of the time I use a stoney point pole cat non attaching bipod works great and adjusts to any terrain

I highly recommend the Harris bipods. I have use them ever since they were introduced way back. I also have a Stoney Point PoleCat that I use as well. The Harris is used for prone and the PoleCat is used for everything else.

Besides the Harris pods which have been recommended. I have been using the Shooter's Ridge pod which is a knock off of a Harris for less money since April. I have used it in the field enough to recomend it as a good value pod and does pivet. It detaches quikly for bench along with the sling which attache's to the pod stud. I would not be without a pod for what I do.

Height will need some thought. If they will see if a shop will put one on a rifle to try. I use the 13 1/2" - 25" so I can sit or put a bag under my elbow for prone. Some of a longer arm or taller build find the 13 1/2" - 25" good for prone as is but, short for sitting. Ideal for prone only for myself 5'9" 190 lbs is about 10" but being able to sit is also very handy.

Height would be a priorty that hopefully they will let you try. The wrong height is annoying in the field.
