I got what is called an evo pod for Christmas. they are at academy for around $40. Basically it is a bipod, that has 3 different tops to it. One with a "v" to rest your barrel in, one to attach a camera or spotting scope to, and one that attaches to your sling swivel. It has a quick attach point that works good. I hunt alot of open country with alot of tall grass and brush, so I use a small stool to sit on. It extends out plenty tall enough to use while sitting on my stool. I couldn't find a bipod that would go tall enough. Sticks work good too, but I like that I can attach these to my gun. Very convenient. They are not top quality but do give a rock solid rest. Great for the money.
