Bird calls at night?

I found it interesting that coyotes seem to not own a calendar. They respond to fawn and pup distress during times of the year when there are no fawns or pups.

So being new, forgive my ignorance. Do they respond to calls at night from critters not out at night. Like birds and prairie dogs?

Back when I used to night hunt and spotlight my favorite sound was a meadowlark by Johhny Stewart on a cassette player. That was alot of coyotes demise!

Coyotes can not structure logic...kind of like a lot of Politicians..

I used, bird, bearcub, crow, hawk, cow, cat, dog, goat, fawn, any sound that works in the day works at night...

Don't overthink things, coyotes don't think, they just "do". I have often used prey distress sounds in areas where that particular prey is not even native.
