Black Coyote or Domestic Dog??? TrailCam pics!

These pics came from a trailcam in western NE last week. I had a chance to see this canine last winter from about 800 yds away. At the time, it was running with a normal looking coyote. They both sat on the hill and howled at us when they saw us walking into the stand.

To me, it looks more like a domestic dog than a coyote. What do you think?? Especially those in the east that run into black coyotes on a regular basis.

My vote would be coyote or cross.

Obviously it's not a pure bred coyote!! I think the ears look a little too pointy for me to think coyote. Either way, it's as wild as a coyote so I won't be passing up any shots at it!!!!
