I have never trapped but my 8 year old son wants me to run a line this winter. I always buy a fur bearers permit and I have got my three bobcat tags this year.
Today I was out scouting for coyotes and I cut several bobcat tracks in the fresh snow. My question is, will bobs make a circuit, or do they travel randomly? Do you put traps along areas were you see tracks hoping the cat will come by again?
