Bobcat decoy

Mojo critter works really well.. The bobcats that we have called successfully and ended in a kill resulted with the FP call placed up in a tree with the mojo critter placed just off to the side under the call.. Something that we found through trial and error is to make sure you have a good FOV under the tree.. The cats always seem to just appear within 10-15 yds of the caller and usually will just be sitting there looking at the mojo or up in the tree at the caller.. We hunt a lot of dozer piles and wind rows so it's usually pretty thick. Thus we don't have the advantage of seeing them come in from a far distance. If you can find habitat like I just described you will find the cats.. I think the decoy just gives them that extra incentive to come in.. Just let the call run uninterrupted and keep an eye out under the tree the call is in and around the decoy.. Hopefully that area under the tree is clear of debris,, prior to hunting we will often brush hog areas under the trees we use to call to open it up for better visuals... Hope this helps!! Best of luck!!!

Take your time calling and stay on stand for a good 45 to 50 mins.. Those cats seem to take their time and come in rather slow.. Defiantly scan the area under the tree and around the decoy really carefully before getting up to retrieve the call.. Good Luck!!
