Bobcat in Heat

I just got my new Foxpro on friday. So far the score is one coyote. My question is has anyone had any luck with the bobcat in heat sound? Our season for bobcats, here in Missouri, is over tomorrow so I dont have much time to play around.

That sound is most effective in the Bobcat's mating season which is usually Feb through March. Play it through once every 2 or 3 minutes and be patient for at least 30 minutes. Sometimes the responding cats will call back to the recording as they approach. It is interesting to me that both males and females have responded to it. One guy even had a coyote show up.

A friend of mine had 6 hunters in from Pa one year and they took 8 cats between them with that sound. They hunted in the heart of the mating season. I hope you have good hunting with your PreyMaster.
