Bobcats in Cages

here in this State all we can use are Cages, [and I hate them] but they work if you handle them right, and you place them where there are Cats in the area, just get a good cubby cleaned out, then place the cage in, cover it up good on both sides, the top, and the back. so the only place the cat can go is in through the door, then place your lure ETC where it will do the job, and you should connect, Grey fox, Badger, coon, Fisher, and other's will get caught in the cage also. here is a picture of the way we Rig them in here. Yancy thanks for the pic. What state are you from? I am from Colorado and am thinking I might just start running a few traps. How many traps do you use? Can you use the same trap location for multiple traps or once you catch a cat do you move the location? I am just cudious. I have some areas where all I see is cat sign. Gonna try night hunting em, but a trap sounds cool.

I am in Cali. and yes you can just leave the cage after a catch I have caught as many as 4 cats in three weeks in the same cage, about a week a part. but the cats ain't the only thing you can catch, the Grey fox go right in. even though I understand you can't take Greys in CO, so you can release them unharmed, Give it a try you can do it, and the thrill is always there. and this cat is in a 8 inch wide cage, a 8x17x36. Ha ha, Hi Tom. I would like to show more, last year wasn't bad but this year has been different, and the Cats just don't wanna coporate. and seems like these cages get more cumbersome all time, a big pain in the you know where, how's it been with you? you doing any trapping? or still adding on LOL Yancy
