Bog-pod tripod problem

I have the type that you twist clockwise to tighten the legs to desired length.
I have the bottom leg that wont tighten up?any ideas what's wrong?

There is a threaded wedge in the leg, the threads can get dirty or rusty and the wedge just spins with the leg instead of tightening. Sometimes you can tap on it(don't dent the leg) or slide it up and down while trying to tighten the leg and it might hit a spot where it catches. Other wise you might have to dismantle it and clean it. I have trekking poles, paint roller handles, camera tripod and a decoy retriever that adjust like that.

I pull out the bottom piece and you’ll see a screw and rod, unscrew that nut up or down and put it back in. Should work then, at least it did for me.

It’s ok to pull the bottom leg all the way out?

I had the same issue. I couldn't get it to lock in some spots but was able to in others. Then the same leg started collapsing so I called them up and they sent me a new leg. No problem after that
