Bore guide for a Cooper 21?

I just picked up my first Cooper but I'm not having any luck locating a bore guide for it. I like the Possum Hollow type guides. Anybody have any ideas?

I also use Possum hollow guides. They're the same guides that Sinclair sells. You will find the guide your are looking for-Cooper 21-in the following chart. Dave

Give Mike Lucas a call! he builds then for any gun, you need to let him know what rod you are using, Caliber and Action, I have 4 of them and they are Great Guides...

I've gotten all of mine from Sinclair. M21, 22, 38, 52 & 57.

Just got one from Sinclair for a model 21. Great product, I like the solvent port/rod guide one piece.

How important is it to use a bore guide, I'm a noobie i guess. I've never met anyone that uses one. Although i've never met anyone that shoots great groups.

It is pretty important. It ranks right up there with only using a one piece cleaning rod. Without a bore guide and good rod you will cause damage to the throat.

True, the average hunter will not notice the difference but every cleaning without will rob a bit of accuracy and barrel life.

....and if it is a to be a varmint rifle, that barrel will get a lot of cleaning.

Bore guide is essential.

Yep, A must have in my book. After thinkin I had everything I needed for a new Savage I was expecting, well, it showed up an I was caught w/o the correct bore guide. I wanted to shoot it so bad, I made a 120 mi. round trip to acquire one.

It sounds like i need to buy some 1 piece cleaning rods and bore guides. At least for my better guns. Where is a good place and are there better brands then some.
