Will the Stoney Point .17 HMR fit the Coop M-21 action ? If not, need recomendations what will fit ...............

I called Stoney Point ( or whoever the conglomerate is that owns them) to see if their guides would work for my Cooper M21 in .204. They sent me to Sinclair International who actually manufacture custom bore guides. They DO stock model 21 guides. They use an "o" ring to seal the chamber and it works great! The bolt stop on the Cooper holds the bore guide in place so there is no slipping of the collar as happens at times with the SP. Actually a much better design IMHO. I purchased the optional solvent port which is a good addition to protect your stock. Sinclair is a class outfit catering to the benchrest crowd. Call them at 800/717-8211 or on the web at www.sinclairintl.com. Hope this helps. Tim.

lucas also make bore guides for just about any rifle including coopers,I have had the sinclairs and they are good but lucas's are much better and come with a solvent port and rod guide that centers the rod in the bore guide.

either will work but i think lucas is better

do s search for lucas boire guide,he doenst have a fancy webpage, you email him tell him what you need and he ships it out and then you can send him a check after you recive the guide and are happy with it, not many people out there will do that
