I had a patch stuck in my 17 HMR for over a year. I couldn't get a gunsmith to touch it.I finally got it out about a week ago. I think all the solvent and oils finally dried up in the patch and it pushed out.I will never use an Otis kit in a small bore rifle again. I now have a coated Dewey rod and bore guide for it.Jeff
