boyds jrs stock

Was thinking about putting one of these on my 300 weatherby vaungard. was wondering about the fit and finish plus what any
body else thought of them. it has to be better than the stock plastic one.

I don't know what a jrs is, but I put a Boyds laminated thumb-hole stock on my rem 700 and love it.

I have 2 of the JRS stocks on Ruger 77's....absolutely love them. The open grip is the thing that I like most. Don't hesitate...they're very good quality stocks.

How good is the recoil pad ?

Not much of a recoil pad....thin and very non-slip but in a 300W, you'll probably want another
