Brass getting scratched

I would start w/ taking the die apart and cleaning w/ brake cleaner. Take a toothbrush and scrub the inside of your die as well. Possibly excess lube has "stuck" some crud up there. Are the scratches consistant from case to case or does it "migrate"? If this doesn't remedy might try polishing w/ some Flitz.

I would assume that if the die is scrathing the neck or shoulder, it will eventually create weak spots in the brass over mulitple sizings and possibly lead to split necks. I'd wait for input from some of the more seasoned guys on this one.

Cleaning and very lightly oiling it would be my suggestion. I found a very small piece of brass shaving had made it's way from my case trimmer over onto my lube pad and then to the die. Fortunately I found it on the first case sized.

Clean the die, Make sure you keep it clean as the lube left in it will pick up dust and crud, and uncleaned brass can deposit crud in the die as well. lube attracts crud and dust. That is what is causeing the scratches . Other than cosmetic they will not hurt much of any thing except that over time the crud stuck in the die will migrate back to loaded catridges and then can get into and scratch the inside of the chamber. So just make sure every thing is clean. Brass , Dies and finished ammo, it only takes a second to wipe things down.
