Ok so I talked to the guy at the range again and asked why to break it in again?  he said the same stuff then I asked about all the copper fouling cleaners.  does that not get everything out I asked?  anyway long story short I just kept asking a question in response to his answers I eventually asked him if he knew about the barrel maker Gale McMillan?  Oh yeah makes some great barrels a blah blah blah.  Then I told him that he argues the fact of breaking in a barrel and that we both could find things on the net that proved our points.  He then told me "well then Joe,  I guess do it if it makes you feel good.  What really can it hurt to break them in?  Not like you can go back and do it 200 rounds later.  And if after all those rounds something is wrong with the barrel you have no way of knowing if was or wasn't you breaking or not breaking it in."

After we agreed to disagree we started debating about non important topics such as religion and global warming.
