I tried the Burris FF2 but decided to go with Bushnell 2x7 3200 Elite. This scope just matched the rifle size much better. I replaced the trigger spring with one of the custom springs and the trigger is about 3 lb's. The factory manual stated the trigger would adjust down to 3 lb's but not on this rifle around 4.5 to 5 lbs was as low as it would go. Here is some photos of the rifle ready to bore sight and see if it will shoot the 40 gr V-Max. with Lil'Gun /ubbthreads/images/graemlins/grin.gif

This set up really intrest me.Is an A bolt a push feed action? What kind of groups and velocity can you get out of the hornet?

I live in a subrban area, and have coyote come around from time to time, I feel a little overgunned with My .243, and a little undergunned with the 22 MAg.

I'm hoping for 1/2 to 3/4 inch groups at 100 yards. The Hornet is very cablecable of sub 1 min group with the right loads and rifle. The vel with Li'Gun should be around 2800 fps. My Encore Hornet with 24 inch barrel chrono 2950 with 13 gr of Lil'Gun and the 40 gr V-Max. I loaded 12.6 to start with the A-Bolt. /ubbthreads/images/graemlins/grin.gif

And left handed to boot. I have been trying to find one of these rifles to shoot and see how they match up to the rest that I have. Don't need a LF one though.

I loaded the Hornet Ammo using Redding Dies but use the Hornady Straight Line Seating Die to seat the bullets. /ubbthreads/images/graemlins/grinning-smiley-003.gif
