Browning BAR in CaLI

Hey California Guys,

Can you possess a Browning BAR Semi auto in California?


My dad has kept a B.A.R 7 mag for a guy that lives in So.Cal for the past 30 years because he used to come up to Utah and deer hunt. Well he called and wants it back. My Mom is driving down to San Diego and he wants her to bring it with her. She is freaking out because she thinks it will be illegal to have this gun in her possession. I told her I think it is o.k. but I would check with you all.

Just saw one posted for sale at our local Gun Club this week here in Apple Valley, CA. And so long as nobody has "messed" with it and doesn't have a "selector" on it, it's legal.

There is no selector on a BAR in 7 mag.
