Browning BPS with X-Full turkey choke

I just picked up my first Coyote shotgun, its a BPS NWTF Turkey 12g and it came with a browning x full turkey choke. I am thinking I will shoot Dead Coyote and I am wondering if this choke will perform well or is there something else that is worth the money?
How much more recoil does the Dead Coyote have than other loads that are effective on Coyotes. I admit that I am a little nervous about these loads. I have shot #4 turkey loads in a Semi auto and it was a healthy kick. Im bettin the DC is gonna be nasty in my BPS.

I would only worry about loads when you are shooting at flying birds and will shoot 50 times in a day. The coyote load will pack a punch but just like the big turkey loads you only shoot them a few times a year.

I am more concerned with recoil during patterning and checking POI. I was doing some searches and saw thread where a guy suggested wearing a lifejacket and I thought that was a good idea. How many of these $6 DC loads will I go through during patterning? I have never patterned a shotgun.

There is no way around it. You must shoot each choke with different loads. Each gun will shoot different chokes and different loads entirely different. Check out the sticky above of 113 PAGES of guys patterning loads and guns.

Dump the gold plated $6 a pop Dead Coyote loads. That's just crazy. Get some Hornady Varmint shotgun loads for $12-14 a box. If you need non-tox, there are other options that don't cost such reicilous amounts of money.

If your shoulder cant handle test batch recoil, have someone shoot for you to get a sense of the pattern.

BTW, tighter is NOT always better when it comes to chokes. Every shotgun has a personality, you have to find the sweet spot in the combination between gun and load.

Exactly, just try your Browning Ex-Full first....I went that route couple yrs back and discovered my stock Browning Ex-Full would out pattern couple aftermarket ones I had tried....using Hevi-shot #6 loads will kill at 60 yds all day. Don't know about Dead Coyote loads or Hornady Varmint loads, but before you invest in other chokes you need to pattern your Browning stock choke first with said loads...you know they are "The best there is" and I know that choke will perform in turkey loads.
