I don't think it will last very long. I haven't tried any BSA scopes on my RWS Springer but it has destroyed every scope I tried. I went back to open sights on the springer and if I need a scope I use my pre-charged.
I have a Bushnell Sportsman 4x32 on my Beeman R1. It has been on there for about 16 years, and still works good. My dealer that I bought the rifle from suggested this scope and he knows his air rifles, so, I bought it. It has worked out well. Good luck.
There are dedicated optics available for air/spring rifles that are made to handle the 'backwards' recoil of those guns. Most standard rifle scopes, even premium optics won't generaly last very long on one.
