I got invited to go on a coyote hunt with dogs, I shoot a Browning Gold Hunter 3.5 12 guage. What choke tube would you use and what size buckshot would you recommend?

If you are going to use buckshot use #4 buckshot. Lead copper coated BB's also work pretty good if you can find them. The Hevi-Shot Dead Coyote "T" shot loads work great but are expensive. Read through this post there is a ton of good information it.

I've had excellent patterns (95-100% in 21" circle @ 40yds) out of a 0.665 choke tube (TruGlo Gobble Stopper) with 2 3/4" #4 nickel plated buckshot on my Remington 870, not sure what that would translate to on your Browning though, something in the XXX Full range I would imagine /ubbthreads/images/graemlins/smile.gif. The TruGlo is about 20 dollars, so if for some crazy reason you decide you don't care for coyote hunting you'll have a budget turkey choke that patterns well, ready for this year's season /ubbthreads/images/graemlins/grinning-smiley-003.gif.
