Buffer tube spring

If you are not in a cold climate, just aplying grease to the spring will also take the "sproing" out of it.

In my neck of the woods, grease on the srping would be a very bad move..... LOL!

Yesm, the flat springs help a lot, but this will make it SILENT.

Take your spring and buffer out, and clean the inside of the tube, spring, and buffer VERY well with break cleaner.

THEN, pick up a can of Silicon Spray, available at Walmart or other spots.
Spray the crap out of your spring and let it dry, then do it again.
Hoze down the inside of your tube and let it dry, repeat 1 or 2 more times.

Re assemble and charge it slowly about 4-5 times.

POOF, no more spring screech. I've been planning a video for this, because no one believes me that you can make your spring 100% noise free.

I do this about 2-3 times a year. (or whenever you feel it's needed)

Best part is, that the silicon spray wont attract dirt or grime like grease or oil and it won't freeze up in sub zero temps.
