It would depend on my budget, but I'd probably go with a Stiller or Borden hunting action, if not a reworked 700 action,Jewell trigger, and a good ss barrel around 25". Twist would be 1 in 12" for me. I have no interest in shooting any bullet lighter than 55 grains and the 12 twist should handle most bullets into the 60's if pushed fast enough.
McMillan would be the stock of my fancy, and I's perch a Leupold VXIII 4.5-14 in some Talley LW's on top.
Of utmost importance would be getting the right gunsmith to do the metal work!!
I just might do this very rifle in the coming year.
