I have a current production model m77 in 220 swift
I do not like the sloppiness on the action and it kinda sounds cheap but none the less
If I were to build on I would start with a win mod 70 action the barrel I would get from pac-nor it would be stainless and it would be no longer than 24"
Case life is a non issue with me cause they keep on makin em so I need not be concerned /ubbthreads/images/graemlins/grinning-smiley-003.gif
To keep it light I would put on a Mcmillan composite or a Bordan composite /ubbthreads/images/graemlins/grinning-smiley-003.gif
