I have a wonderful swift, but I also have a 22-250 Ackley improved.  I would go with the Ackly improved, even though I am very nostalgic, and love the fact the swift was the king of the hill for a lot of years.  Still a great cartridge, and is not all that hard to load for, but as stated the trimming would be minimal.  I'm on the 4th loading of the 100 Norma brass I bought, and after the fireform and initial trim, I'm still good.  I'd build on a rem action, hart barrel, jewell trigger, and really stock is personal preferance.  Do the research, and find a good smith, is the most important of all.  He'll help you make all the right choice, if he is reputable.
