So I'm building a .243 win, maybe IA and it was mentioned to me that I could build it off one of the Savage 111's I have. I hadn't considered it but sounds reasonable...If I'm not mistaking the bolt face is the same ?? .243/308/30-06 . Just a rebarrel and some mods, then I wouldn't need another donor SA. Anybody ever do one like that ??
