dont go cheap on the mp3 player it will sound bad, I used one and found that it had to much static, I used a higher end mp3 and had better sound quality but the wife got mad about me downloading screaming rabbit sounds on her mp3 LOL. As far as amps go I used a amp from manaska it is plug and play I used a speaker from western rivers also plugs right into the amp and there is a spot for secondary speaker on this amp, I used the nady wireless to make it remote operational, the amp was also rechargable I had to carry to many batteries for the mp3 and nady system.
