The bullet shot at a squirrel, is probably shot at an angle, not straight up. So it will return to earth at a velocity greater than if falling straight down. I never understood shooting squirrels with a .22 anyway. A shotgun is much safer. Mabey back in the day when nobody lived in the country, but today, living in the country is all the rage. It is just asking for trouble.tom
