bullets for cyotes

hello to all. just joined the sight and i am in need of some help. i got a stag arms ar-15 with a 1/9 twist barrel. what factory loads will shoot well in this gun but will also be effective on dogs out to 300 yards. all info will be greatly appriciated. thanks

60 gr VMAX rocks.

With the 1 in 9 , you will do good with the 60 grain + bullet weights. That barrel will stabilize them well.

Good luck finding the black hills ammo WITHOUT paying an arm and a leg
i shoot/got Black hills remanufactured 77 grn matchking HP's
they shoot well out of my AR but i havent shot them at 300 yards

You might look at the 75gr BTHP that BH makes. They are cheaper and have a better BC than the 77gr. Its a Hornady bullet so you can look it up on the website. If you want try it and want 1k rounds let me know I can get a pretty good deal on it.
