I’m just now learning about thermals. Been mainly hunting at night with red scan light and a gun light. Coyotes very skittish and don’t cooperate with lights it seems.
Can anyone with experience recommend or no?
Saw what I think is a really good price on this handheld monocular.
2.3-9.2x35mm
Resolution 400x300
How is the FOV.
Primary use would be coyote hunting in Georgia. Not a lot of open fields but more food plots, power lines, and roads.
 
The Burris thermals i looked through at our local shop was very unimpressive to say the least. I don't know much about them other than they are a price point Chinese sensor that doesn't have a big fan base.

If your just getting into it and on a budget take a look at the Pulsar Thermion line, very proven over the years with no complaints of POI/ZERO shifts. Also made like a traditional day scope and is the best choice for bolt action guns.

I'm a fan of buy once cry once so honestly IMO its an $800 investment that could be used much wiser!
