Burris PEPR vs RRA cantilever

Hey guys,
I have been doing lots of reading about mounts for the AR. I have it narrowed down the the PEPR and the rra cantilever. I was curious about some opinions from people that have both. Is the PEPR worth the 30 dollars more? How does the RRA compare. I have tried many searches but haven't found any information about the RRA mount specifically other than finding threads where people saying they ordered them. I haven't been able to find any real reviews about them. I would really like to hear you guys opinions.
Thanks

I don't have either but went back and forth between the larue or American defense and decided on the American. A little cheaper and just a hair lighter. I have looked into get the Burris though to put on my Bushy 223 since it has a smooth free float handguard and no where to mount a light. The picatinny rail is perfect on top. Also if you haven't used the cantilever style mount yet I think you'll be very happy how it moves the scope forward enough to allow easier access to charging handle. The PEPR is on my next JoeBob order.

I have both. I have a 30mm PEPR on my R15 and a RRA one inch on my PP. I like the bolts on the PEPR vs the RRA because I would rather tighten the base to the rail with a socket than a screwdriver. The PEPR may be a little heavier and bulky but that could be because its a 30 mm. Overall they are both good at what they are designed for. If you want to attach a laser or light go with the Burris. If you want to save 30 bucks get the RRA.

I have handled both and was not impressed with the screws on the RRA. I personally don't like the rails on the Burris but I would buy it over the RRA. The last couple that Ive put on friends guns have been the Nikon 20 moa m-223 one piece mount. It is as nice or nicer then the Burris, and about the same price.

I have owned a RRA mount and it was just way too high for me to get a good cheek weld. Never owned the Burris PEPR. Armalite makes a pretty good one-piece mount.

We have noticed this as well. All of our newer shipments of Burris PEPR mounts had the picatinny ring tops installed on the mount, but also had (2) seperate non-picatinny ring tops as well. The picatinny tops sell individually normally for ~$18.95.

Must be the 1" rings. The 30mm's I got last week didn't have the separate caps.
Just a FYI, the picatinny type is fine with me.

We've sold a boatload of these recently so for others interested, macro just got the last of our 1" PEPR. We've been trying to source more but all our current distributors have been out for a few weeks. Lining up a few new distributors to see if we can source some more.

Of the PEPR? We wouldn't be able to do much more than ~5% discount we currently offer. We have pretty marginal markup on em as is to offer the current pricing and be competitive with other people, unfortunately.
