Burris Scope cutomer service

I am having a problem with my Burris scope and have sent e-mails to their customer service twice since the 20th of January and have yet to get a reply ...Are they known for good customer service what has been your experience..........Trapperdoc

trapperdoc,,Have you tried calling them....When I've called them, the lady answering the phone has been very helpful...Who ever they have that is responsible for emails may be off on vacation or out sick...It's that time of year and it is Colorado..

I called them a few weeks ago about a spotting scope that had taken a dump. I was told to go to their website and download the "repair authorization" form, fill it out and send the scope in. I did so, shipped it on a Wednesday and received a brand new scope on the following Monday week, like 12 days later. I say that was pretty good service.

The only time I ever needed service from Burris was when I bought a 2x handgun scope from a pawn shop. The scope had no turret caps, so I called and told them the deal. They shipped two caps for free even though I told them I was willing to pay.

Call em...
A year ago I slipped on a hill and scope hit a rock on the turrent cap....called Burris up, due to the scope being atleast 20-25yrs old and explained what happened.
First question from them...are you ok?
2 days later they sent me 3 different sets to use...FREE of charge !!!
Thumbs up to Burris !!

Same experience here. Lost my scope cover. They sent me a replacement for free, even though I told them I'd pay for it. The bean counters are definitely not in charge at Burris!

burris customer service was great to me i had an older pistol scope i bought years ago sent it back they said they could not repair it but offered me 80% off any msrp scope they had i ended up with a black diamond 4-16x50 30mm tube for around 200$ i was more than happy great people to deal with and outstanding scope !

I have heard all kinds of negatives on other forums in regards to Burris customer service. I have a fleet of Burris scopes and love them all. Comments read in this thread reinforce my belief I made the right choice. Had on older VariX-III that had a problem and sent it to Leupold for a fix and new target turrets. They were great to work with but I never felt the glass was as good as my Signatures. It went down the road.

I emailed them once as I got a scope where both of the turrets were marked for elevation. I got a fast reply and they took care of it very quickly. Like someone else said, whoever handles the emails is probably out of the office. Their CS is usually excellent.

Good suggestions on giving a phone call or the web site return authorization.

Although I have had to return the same scope twice, both times the turn around from ship date was about a week to 10 days.
Customer service seemed to be very good IMO.
