Does anyone have and know or have a link to what the tube diameter is for both the 2.5x40 and 2.5x50mm? I've narrowed it down to one of these two scopes for the new rifle and want to know the size of the mount/rings to get...30mm or 1".

It depends on the scope. Happy Hunter has it correct, but would like to add that the 2.5-10x40 and 2.5-10x50 with the Multi-X reticle are both 1" tubes, where the 2.5-10x50 Illuminated Dot reticle is a 30mm tube.

Didn't know the reticle would influence the tube diameter. I'm going with the multi-x reticle, so you guys got me the info I needed.
