Bushnell AR optics 1-4x24 btr-1 Illuminated

I am interested in trying a 1-4x scope for my night time hunting. Most of my night time shots are 125 yrds or less. I am on a budget and ran across the Bushnell AR optics 1-4 with illuminated btr-1 reticle in FFP. These scopes are now down in the $220 price range and appear to be a decent value. I know this scope will not compare to the Vortex viper PST that I would like to have but it is less than half of the money also. Has anybody used this Bushnell scope to offer their opinion on the quality and value of this scope. Thanks Derek
 
I have one on my Tavor....save your money and buy the Viper PST,,,its not that great. Very fuzzly on edges and glass is poor. Very nice build though,,solid. I do like the reticle and throw lever.

I have one in with the BDC reticle on my hunting AR. As started the glass isn't great but it isn't that horrible either. You're not going to find great glass in that price range. On bright sunny days the scope has great color and contrast. In low light or overcast situations the scope suffers and is pretty dim. The field of view (FOV) is fantastic and has allowed me to take several successful running shots. Its also easy to find an incoming predator in the scope with the wide FOV. iwouldn't hesitate to take shots out to 200 yards and maybe farther, even with my getting older eyes. I've had mine on the gun for almost two years. I'm not sure I'd buy one for another rifle but its not bad enough I've sought to replace it either.
