I have 3 of the Banners and they have performed great for me. Mine are clear, retain zero, and adjust properly. For the money they are hard to beat. They are not as nice as my Nikons but I don't have to pay $350 each for them.

Only drawback I have had is the maginification ring on them is tight.

I have looked through the scope that you mentioned as well as the 6-18X 50mm model. In my eyes (and I am a scope whore) the 6-18X has it all over the more powerful one. Sharper, brighter, and-suprise!- cheaper too. Put an eye to it and you will see. For $125 bucks or so, it just cant be beat in my book.

I've have a 4-12X on my CZ452 in 17HMR going on 3 years now and it works just fine. I recently bought one of the 4-12X Browning's that were on closeout sale. I was thinking I'd use it to replace the Banner, but I still liked the Banner better so I left it on.

no!

warranty sucks.

they argued with me about a warranty issue (twice)on a spring piston air gun they said was OK to use with a Banner.

They are hind tit!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

To me it's "BushSmell"---- never again

it hasn't got anything to do with "To each their own."

BushSmell is a [beeep] up company and they proved it twice on two of the three Banners I had.

I am down to one Banner 6-18x50 (POS) and it had the eyepiece superglued in so as not to wobble.

God help you if the scope break anytime before, during, or after Fall.... they are busy and don't give a [beeep].

I have about 6 banners and have never had a problem with any of them. They shoot great. I have several guns that are shooting less than 3/4" groups with a banner on them.

I have the 6x18x50 on a Savage/Steven .223 and it's dead on. I have had zero problems with it. And when placed side by side with other scopes in the same price range, this one it tough to beat.

Everyone gets a bad "something" once in a while, some people have to have the best named brand out there in everything. I for one buy what I can afford on my budget. 4 more mouths to feed besides me own, so that limits my spending greatly.

The most expensive scope I have is a Leupold that was given to me as a gift. So to each his own. If I had a bank account that allowed many fruitless spendings on desires rather than needs, it might be different.

You'll enjoy your purchase. Good luck.

AMEN Sureshot and I still say for the money they are a bargin!! My freind just spent over 600.00 on a sigtron and had to take it back, would not hold zero, fuzzy veiw, a real piece of crap. After he looked through my Banners he said a few choice words about his credit card bill he had coming for the Sigtron LOL!!!!!!!!!

Good luck, Stan

I had a sightron that was the same way.

You are correct sir: "for the money they are a bargin!!"

Just buy two and you'll be fine. If I was travelling to a shoot that I get to once a year I'd always want backup stuff anyway.
