What are your thoughts on the Bushnell Banner Dusk & Dawn rifle scopes? Likes, dislikes and are they worth the money? Thanks Josh

ive got a 4x12x40 AO one thats been on my .30-06, 2 .223, and right now is sitting on my .22 mag its gone through 100 of rounds of .30-06 about 200 through both .223 and about 100 through the .22 mag i like it its kinda heavy but other than that its been a great scope. I like the AO feature for the range the adjustment knobs are nice besdies being kinda heavy i don't have any dislikes i think its a great scope for the money (i've heard the ones from korea are the better ones but don't know mines from korea)

For the money a good scope. I have two that are probably ten years old and have been on everything from .22's to 7mm's. Never had any trouble with them.

Mine are 6-18x50ao, at the time i bought them they were $95 each, around here they are running $140 now. You might check the optic zone for a good price. blue

The reason I am asking is because I can get a brand new, never mounted one still in the box for $50 from a guy around here. Its a 6-24x40 and im thinking about putting it on my Savage .243 for coyote hunting. Ofcourse the guy selling it is going to say its a nice scope or he wouldnt of bought it in the first place so I was just wanting some opinions from you guys. Thanks Josh

I've had a 3-9x40 on my Marlin .22 WMR for a few years without any problems. I couldn't really turn it down as I purchased it for $35 from Midway as an open box special.

I'd jump on it. I have the 4-12 on my CZ .22. It is a great scope for the price and what I use it for...informal target practice and small game hunting. You'll get a lot of people that'll say spend big bucks once, and I kinda agree with this to a certain degree, but you can't go wrong for $50.

I think one of my friends has the 6-24 with the mil dots now that I think of it. I shot it last weekend and it was nice too.

I have a 6-24x40 on my Specialized Dynamics .204 flat top that I have used both for hunting and for Precision Long Rifle matches. So far it has taken the abuse, and I was able to place 6th in last months match with it. I shot a sub half inch group with it while sighting in, and have used it to take some dogs out of the Kingman area with it. This morning I just put one on my 16in .223 flat top with a Burris PEPR mount.

Here are some links to photos of them.

I have that exact scope on my .243 Savage. It works reasonably well. It tracks well enough that I was able to win the first two factory class ground hog matches I shot it in with relays at 200, 300, and 500 yards. It's been through close to 2,000 rounds on my .22-250 and 500+ on my .243.

NIB for $50.00? That's a no brainer. If you can't say "yes" fast enough, just nod your head.
