Bushnell Elite 6500 Rifle Scopes

I just bought a 6500 in 2.5-16X from psdan000 in the classified section. I mounted it on a Remington 700 that is chambered in .17 Remington. So far as I can tell without taking it to the range yet, it is one fine piece of glass. I rather hate to use the word "awesome" because it is so overused, but that pretty much seems to fit in this case. If it is not every bit as clear as my Zeiss Conquest, I sure cannot tell it.

I have a 2.5-16x42 in the 6500 series and have been extremely impressed with it. It is not in the same class as a NF, swaro, etc obviously but it is superior to the Vari-X III and VX-III scopes I have at the house. I would have to say that it is fairly close in comparison to the Zeiss. I have heard it from allot of people and share the opinion that it is one of the better deals out there for the money...

I have the 2.5x16x50 and as with the 4200 series I believe these scopes to be a bargin. Mine tracks perfectly and returns to zero repeatedly. Clarity is on par with scopes costing hundreds of dollars more.
If you are looking for quality in this price range I dont think you can do any better.
No they are not cheap and they don't perform like cheap scopes either.

P.S. I realy like mine.

Mike, The new 6500's are a fantastic piece of glass. I was fortunate enough to be in blind test with Bushnell (no, not a test with blind people) a few years ago. It compared the new 6500, VX3, Zeiss Conquest and Nikon Monarch. The scopes were mounted on dummy stocks and then we got to look downrange at different targets from 25 to 200 yards.I was definitely not in the minority when I chose the 6500 series as the top performer.
Buy one, you won't regret it.

I have had this scope as well on my 6X45mm DTech for a while now and what Cody says pretty much sums up my opinion.
